ReplyDeleteHello there! Awesome painting! When you draw or paint how do u transfer your art into a digital file? Do you scan it or do you prefer making a photo? It rly feels like in this era of so many digital artists it's pain in the ass for us to put so much efford in smth not rly connected to the painting process itself.I rly wanted to make my way into the illustration field with traditional media, since I have a love for it, but I may turn to digital if it keeps on causing me so much trouble. Do you have any tips on how to make your digital copy better for example or how to set the scanner (because the guys who work in the scaning studios apearently dont) I feel like going in the studio with a machine gun next time...
ReplyDeleteHi Gollor- I take a photo. It's never exact, but I make the adjustments in Photoshop. For example, the camera usually shoots a little in on the red side so I make adjustments with levels in PS. I'm no the best person at shooting my work. Check out this tutorial Dan Dos Santos did about shooting his work (Scroll to the bottom for the photo tut):http://www.dandossantos.com/extras/moon_called_how_to.pdf
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Lucas... That's some pretty good company you are there with. Awesome!
