Vorstclaw



Here is the last image I did for the Avacyn Restored set. The final is 11x14 oil on masonite.

    I love the arra where the creatures arm turns blue into the mist, and you just define to shape. I also love the gaping maws on the body

    Thanks Matt. I had planned to use lots of silhouettes from the beginning. There was just so much detail in this character that I was afraid I couldn't get it all to read in the amount of time I had to do the painting. I figured if I just decked out a focal area on him and lose the rest into atmosphere, that would solve my problem.
