New "Dark Ascension" Magic Cards.

Here are a couple of Magic cards that were released on their SITE. The double faced cards is something new that Magic is doing with their sets. There's an article describing the thoughts behind the concept HERE.



Both original paintings are 12x16 oil on masonite.

    Wonderful. I just love your lighting. Do you use photoreference or is all just in your head? Very nice the material rendering. Out of curiosity what oil color brand do you usually use and why? :)

    Thanks Francesco. I shot reference of the girl. As far as oil brands go, I use mainly Windsor Newton and Da Vinci.
